Green Magikoopas (abbreviated as GRN Magikoopa in Paper Mario and G. Magikoopa in its sequel, named Green Kameks in the British English version of Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition) are green-robed Magikoopas that primarily appear in the Super Mario role-playing games, their behavior varying between series.
History
Paper Mario series
In the Paper Mario series, Green Magikoopas use magic spells to aid their allies in battle, such as raising defense. In addition to wearing green robes, they are depicted having blue shoes, with blue jewels for their magic wands.
Paper Mario
In Paper Mario, they are encountered later in the game and never appear outside of battle. In battle, they can boost another enemy's DEF by one point, but otherwise fire a magic blast or strike Mario with its magic wand, both attacks dealing three points of damage. Sometimes Green Magikoopas will ride brooms, but this doesn't affect their stats in any way, except hammer attacks will miss. When alone, it flees from battle.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and its Nintendo Switch remake, one Green Magikoopa appears as an enemy in the Glitz Pit, and member of The Magikoopa Masters. In this game, it does not have the power to increase DEF, but it has the power to give their allies the Invisible or Electrified status instead, thus replacing both Gray Magikoopas and Yellow Magikoopas. Its former abilities are instead added to Red Magikoopas. Additionally, it can now clone itself if alone.
Mario Baseball series
In Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Super Sluggers, a Green Magikoopa can be selected as an alternate costume of a Magikoopa. In Mario Superstar Baseball, Green Magikoopa has slightly higher pitching than the normal Magikoopa, but boasts a point less in running, making it one of the slowest characters in the game. In Mario Super Sluggers, it has slightly lower pitching than the normal Magikoopa.
Mario & Luigi series
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
In Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, Kamek creates a green-robed clone of himself called Kamek (Green) to assist him in his third battle against the Mario Bros. in Dreamy Neo Bowser Castle. This clone can raise the DEF of Kamek, his other clones and itself just like Green Magikoopas in Paper Mario, but can also raise their SPEED and POW as well.
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions
Green Magikoopas appear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions after being absent in the original game. They are labeled as Magikoopa (Green) and appear as enemies and recruitable allies exclusively in Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser. They are ranged troopers, and can use their magic wands to raise the unit's accuracy. Like other Magikoopas, they are weak against Bowser Jr.
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey
Green Magikoopas also reappear in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey as enemies and allies in Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode. In this game, they can raise the unit's speed. The broom riding variety was going to reappear, but was cut from the game.
Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition
Green Magikoopas appear in Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition as Wood-attribute enemies, found primarily in the towers of World 8, first appearing in World 8-Tower 1.
As an enemy, a Green Magikoopa attacks by firing a blast of green magic at the screen, inflicting Wood damage to the player's team. Their Skill, Wood Trick, changes all Fire and Heart Orbs on the Orb field into Wood Orbs. When defeated, it may occasionally drop a large Coin worth 100 coins or a Grand Wood Block of itself. It always drops a Spiky Shell when defeated with a 10+ Combo attack.
Green Magikoopas can be found in World 8-Tower 1, World 8-Tower 2, and World 8-Bowser's Castle.
As teammates, Green Magikoopas have an HP rating of 5/6, an ATK rating of 5/6, and a RCV rating of 1/6. Their Max Lv. is 99. Their Wood Trick Skill functions the same as it does when they appear as enemies. Green Magikoopas use Spiky Shells and Grand Spiky Shells to raise their Skill levels. Green Magikoopas may give HP+ bonuses to other teammates when being depowered. Their Awoken Skill, Skill Boost, reduces the amount of turns required to first use Skills when entering a course.
Other forms
In version 2.0 of Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition, the player can transform a Green Magikoopa into three other forms in which another Magikoopa accompanies it: Green/Blue Magikoopas, Green Magikoopas, and Green/Yellow Magikoopas. All three forms share the same Skill and Skill Item requirements, and have an HP rating of 5/6, an ATK rating of 5/6, and an RCV rating of 1/6 (with the exception of Green Magikoopas, which has an HP rating of 6/6).
Green/Blue Magikoopas can be created by transforming a Green Magikoopa with six Ice Flowers. This duo is a Wood/Water attribute teammate, and its Awoken Skill, Twin Target, raises ATK and attacks two foes for each of this ally's attributes that the player clears four Orbs for.
Green Magikoopas can be created by transforming a Green Magikoopa with six Super Leaves. This duo is a Wood/Wood attribute teammate, and its Awoken Skill, Wood Boost, raises ATK of the player's Wood attribute teammates when they clear a horizontal line of Wood Orbs.
Green/Yellow Magikoopas can be created by transforming a Green Magikoopa with six Super Mushrooms. This duo is a Wood/Light attribute teammate, and shares the same Awoken Skill as Green/Blue Magikoopas.
Mario Sports Superstars
In Mario Sports Superstars, Green Magikoopas appear as teammates in baseball.

Tattle | This is a Green Magikoopa. He's one of the magicians in the Koopa clan. I have to admit, I like those green robes. Very cool! Max HP: 11, Attack Power: 3, Defense Power: 0 He can magically increase the defense power of others. He looks pretty surly. |
- Paper Mario Official Nintendo Player's Guide: The Grn Magikoopa appears both on brooms and on land. In addition to casting offensive spells, it has a special magic that boosts the defensive power of allies.[1]

Tattle | That's a Green Magikoopa. It's a Koopa wizard dressed in green. Max HP is 7, Attack is 4, and Defense is 0. It has magic attacks and can also magically electrify allies and make them invisible. Oh, this also says it'll use magic to make copies of itself when it's all alone. ...Which is totally lame, 'cause then you can't tell the real deal from the copy!
