History[edit]

Psycho Kamek lives at Little Fungitown, also working there as a hypnotist. Psycho Kamek is visited by Luigi because he is not courageous enough to go Guffawha Ruins and get the Crabbie Grass needed to cure Mario of his Bean Fever. Psycho Kamek hypnotizes Luigi effortlessly into thinking he is Mario, immediately filling Luigi with enough confidence. Psycho Kamek then thinks to himself that Luigi could have been the easiest client whom he had ever hypnotized.

Psycho Kamek is supposedly senile, trying to hypnotize a Toad into believing he was a Toad at one point and sometimes trying to hypnotize himself in front of a mirror.

Naming[edit]

The second word of Psycho Kamek's name was translated directly the Japanese name for Magikoopas, "Kamekku". In-game, Psycho Kamek was named by the residents of Little Fungitown due to his behavior.
