Ice Snifits battle in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
A battle with two Ice Snifits.

Ice Snifits are enemies who inhabit the frozen palace of Joke's End in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. They are Snifits dressed in orange parkas to stay warm in the cold. Outside of battle, Ice Snifits can attack the Mario brothers from a distance by spitting a chunk of ice at the brothers, or if they are too far away, shoot the ice chunk high into the air, falling back down on Mario and Luigi's head; if the icy projectile touches the either two, the battle will start.

Ice Snifits attack by spitting multiple snowballs out of their mouths, which can be avoided by jumping over them. They can also spit a chunk of ice that slides slowly on the ground toward the target; the Mario brothers can counter this attack with their hammers. Sometimes, two Ice Snifits can team up and attack both brothers at the same time with snowballs. Like most enemies in Joke's End, Ice Snifits are weak against the Firebrand technique and the Fire Bros. Bros. Attack, and may flee from battle without any Experience Points, coins, or item drops given if their hoods are set on fire due to these moves. Ice Snifits are sometimes fought with Glurps and Clumphs, though they are never seen fighting alongside Scaratroopeas.

In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, their design is closer to regular Snifits, with a visible body and stub arms. In Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser, Ice Snifits appear as enemies. They are ranged troopers, and attack by spitting chunks of ice. Their special skill is Spitfire Fury, allowing them to spit multiple chunks of ice at a targeted minion. Ice Snifits are weak against Bomb Boos.
