- “Hmmm... Hey! You don't think maybe I was a pig in a past life, do you? What a concept!”
- —Gloomer, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Gloomer, mistakenly referred to as Freddy on occasion in the GameCube original, is a Twilighter that lives in Twilight Town in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He welcomes Mario and his partners when they first arrive in Twilight Town, but is quickly turned into a Pig by Doopliss. In the Nintendo Switch remake, Gloomer is always referred to by his correct name.
Tattle[edit]
- "That's Gloomer of Twilight Town. I'm so stoked that he's back to normal! If it had taken any longer, he might've ended up as a pork chop!"
- As a pig
- "That's Gloomer the pig... I mean... Gloomer, the guy who got turned into a pig. When I think of him having to live like this, I get oinked up... I mean, choked up..."
