First appearance Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam (2015)

Paper Kamek is an alternate form of Kamek that appears alongside the regular Kamek in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. He first appears at Sunbeam Plains, where he orders some Goombas to drop a Papercraft Goomba at the entrance to Doop Doop Dunes to block it off from the Mario Bros. He later appears in Doop Doop Dunes alongside the regular Kamek, where he casts a spell to dump trash in the desert, halting the Mario Bros.' progress. The two continuously bicker, but eventually cooperate to call the Papercraft Kamek to destroy Mario, Luigi, and Paper Mario in their Papercraft Luigi. Later, Paper Kamek dumps trash in Gloomy Woods and brainwashes a Wiggler into fighting the trio. In Neo Bowser Castle, the two Kameks join to fight the trio.

During Paper Kamek's battle in Gloomy Woods with Wiggler, Paper Kamek is found in the background of the battle. During an attack where Wiggler chases one of the brothers, Paper Kamek can attack at the end by ramming into the brother. He can also attack by sending magic blasts at the trio, with specific shapes targeting different members of the trio. If the blasts are hit with a hammer, they can hit Wiggler, causing him to attack Paper Kamek. Paper Kamek can also create a giant paper ball for Wiggler to ride on and chase Mario and Luigi with, who must use Paper Mario as a Boomerang to hit the ball several times to destroy it before Wiggler rams into one of the brothers. Paper Kamek will eventually slowly fly across the background, and if he is hit, the ball will instantly be destroyed. When Wiggler loses all of his HP, Paper Kamek flies over to him, allowing him to be attacked. After a few turns, he revives Wiggler if he has not been defeated.

During the battle with both Kameks in Neo Bowser Castle, Paper Kamek can attack with Kamek by connecting their wands and running under the trio. The magic must be jumped over to avoid it. Kamek can also create portals around the brothers, and Paper Kamek flies through the portals, coming out of the portal that matches the color of the one he entered. Paper Kamek can multiply himself to block Kamek from being attacked. The copies can be destroyed by throwing Paper Mario in his boomerang form at them. He can also summon Paper Dry Bones into the battle.
