“I collect the goods, and she sells 'em. Simple. A good shop, like a good marriage, is dependent on teamwork, my friend! So show your support and buy something!”
Twilight Shop manager, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)

The Twilight Shop manager is a character in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and its Nintendo Switch remake. He runs the Twilight Shop alongside his wife.

The Twilight Shop manager, alongside many other Twilight Town residents, was turned into a pig by Doopliss. While his wife thinks he is the pig inside the Twilight Shop, he can actually be seen as a pig on Twilight Trail right by where he dropped the key to the storage room.

After Doopliss steals Mario's body and turns everyone who was transformed back to normal, the manager returns to the Twilight Shop, where he sees Dupree, the true identity of the pig there. Worried his wife was cheating on him, the manager starts an argument with Dupree, threatening to use a "ninja punch" on him.

In the remake, the manager can be seen cheering on Mario alongside his wife and other Twilight Town residents during the final battle against the Shadow Queen.

Profiles[edit]

  • Tattle: "That's the Twilight Shop manager. He does most of the ordering and stocking. And I guess his wife handles the customers. I thought he looked sick at first, but that's normal for these people, I guess."
