“Who're you? The great and honorable Crystal King said that I can't let anyone pass! You're up to no good! I'm going to have to hurt you!”
White Clubba, Paper Mario

White Clubbas are stronger, frigid versions of regular Clubbas in Paper Mario. Their design seems to mostly be based on Spikes' appearance from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, which are also only found in snow areas. They live in cold areas such as Shiver Mountain and Crystal Palace and they are susceptible to fire attacks. Unlike normal Clubbas, they are not found sleeping. In a certain part of Crystal Palace, some White Clubbas are required to be defeated in order to clear out the Clubba statues on the other side. One attack involves them swinging a club at Mario, while one of their alternative attacks is quickly striking him with the club three times. The attacks do five and six damage unblocked, respectively, though since the latter attack involves more strikes, more health can be saved if each strike is blocked properly than with the former. When a Clubba sees Mario, it tries to whack him with its club as the First Strike. They appear both as standard enemies and as stationary scripted miniboss encounters, where they appear alongside various colors of Magikoopas.
