50-Coins are coins that are worth 50 coins. First appearing in Wario Land: Shake It!, they are originally a large variety of silver coins, but more Super Mario games such as Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, Mario Golf: World Tour, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, and Super Mario Maker 2 depict them as large, gold coins with the number "50" on them.

History[edit]

Wario Land: Shake It![edit]

Coins that are worth fifty regular coins debut in Wario Land: Shake It!, where they are referred to as large silver coins. In this game, they are colored silver, like regular silver coins; the difference, however, is that they are bigger than regular silver coins. There is also a mission in Gurgle Gulch that disallows Wario to take any large silver coins, so he must complete the level without taking these coins to complete the mission.

Mario & Luigi series[edit]

In the Mario & Luigi series, 50-Coins are found in ? Blocks, M Blocks, L Blocks, Random Blocks, and Bros. Blocks.

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam[edit]

In Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, 50-Coins can be found commonly inside ? Blocks and dug up from the ground. They start appearing more frequently in Twinsy Tropics.

Super Mario Maker 2[edit]

In Super Mario Maker 2, 50-Coins appear as objects that can be placed in courses. They are variants of 10-Coins, along with 30-Coins. The 50-Coin takes up four spaces instead of one. Like 10-Coins and 30-Coins, they are unable to be placed in ? Blocks, Pipes, or Bill Blasters, though they can be attached to Swinging Claws. In Story Mode, they usually appear in risky places.
