Krode Rs are stronger versions of Krodes that appear in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. They are only found on Merrygo Island during the Monster Mania: Level 1 sidequest, and share the same design as their standard brethren.
However, unlike regular Krodes, their defense stats are so high that they only take minimal damage from normal attacks. This makes Battle Plug effects and multi-hit moves the only practical ways to defeat them.
Battle[edit]
In battle, Krode Rs share the same attacks as regular Krodes. One of them is spawning a pipe and then throwing it at the brother it is standing in front of; this can be countered by using a hammer.
While the other is tossing a wrecking ball at one of the bros, who can dodge it via jumping. If it spins clockwise, it is aiming for Mario, and if it spins counterclockwise, it is aiming for Luigi.
