The Copy Block is a Command Block in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. It is only available to Paper Mario, and it allows him to create multiple copies of himself.

After saving the eight Paper Toads in Peach's Castle (Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam), they make the Copy Block and give it to Mario before he and Luigi leave the castle. Afterwards, while battling with the Paper Goomba wheel in Sunbeam Plains, Paper Mario floats down onto the battlefield and Starlow gives him the Copy Block. When Paper Mario is hit while he has copies, instead of taking damage he loses copies. All attacks take away at least one copy, and stronger attacks can remove more than one. During the Paper Petey Piranha boss fight, he steals the Copy Block from Paper Mario and makes copies of himself.

Paper Mario can have a maximum of six copies, though this can be increased to eight or ten through the Rank-up bonus Copy Max +2. There is a Battle Card that can also create maximum copies.
