In Mario & Luigi: Brothership, a list of summaries of the game's story are listed in the Adventure Log of the main menu, under Main Story. Within the Main Story section are a listing of different quests listing its summary and objective, and whether it has been cleared or not, marked by a checkmark. Unlike in previous Mario & Luigi games, the present quest does not supersede previous ones.

The Monster Bird Appears 13 The Great Lighthouse Island of the Color-Full Sea has a high wall around it. Mario and crew must find a way to get past it. Find the lighthouse and head there. Follow those suspicious birds.
Enter...IDLE! 13 Desolatt Island is warm and relaxing, except for the weird birds that keep abducting the residents. Find the scattered members of IDLE! (Be sure to check inside buildings for them as well.)
Schemes and Schemers 13 The IDLE Group has challenged Mario and friends to a game of hide-and-seek. Find them all to reach the lighthouse. Head to the lighthouse—it looked like that's where the monster birds were headed.
IDLE on Shipshape Island 14 The Extension Corps was behind the abductions, and the crew fought Ten, the "brains" of the operation. What are they up to? Talk to Connie about Desolatt Island. What are the Extension Corps's plans with those Snaptors?

The Search for Peach 14 Starlow is here in this world too! She got separated along with Peach. Mario and crew will now head to Merrygo Island. Starlow has gotten separated from Peach. Maybe you should check Merrygo Island?
The Princess, A-Mazed 14 Merrygo Island is famous for its huge maze. Peach is supposedly in there somewhere, so the crew decide to explore it. Find Peach and escape the maze. It may help to climb to the high platform and get a look at the entire maze.
The Inventor and the Princess 14 You went to Merrygo Island to find Peach. You escaped the big maze and met the island's protector, the genius inventor Technikki. Head back to Shipshape Island with Technikki and Peach. Go to the lighthouse and link the island.
See Where the Snaptors Go! 14 You finally found Peach by the lighthouse! Everyone is thrilled to be reunited. What's more, Technikki has joined the crew on Shipshape Island. Why are Snaptors abducting people? Make a plan with your allies in the plaza on Shipshape Island.
Operation: Decoy 14 Peach had an idea to solve the mystery around the Snaptor abductions, but it's a dangerous decoy operation. Choose whether Peach or Luigi will head the investigation.

In Search of Stickem Oil 16 To get over the wall on the Great Lighthouse Island, you decided on a rocket, per Technikki's advice. You are, however, short on rocket oil. Find the island that's the source of the rocket oil. Maybe in a desert?
Sharkbone Desert 16 To complete Technikki's rocket, you have arrived at Allsand Island in search of oil. Pass through the dangerous quicksand with Bro Ball. Find the oil and watch out for quicksand. If Sharkbones get near, be sure to run away.
Stickem Oil Acquired 16 Luigi had a bold plan inspired by the resident clinging to a palm tree. You have obtained the Stickem Oil. Bring the Stickem Oil back to Shipshape, and give it to Technikki.
Destroy the Wall! 16 With the Stickem Oil, the rocket is nearly ready. It's time to break through the wall and reach the Great Lighthouse Island. Give Technikki the oil and complete the rocket.
Connie's Memories 17 The secret to the Extension Corps's scheme must be at the Great Lighthouse Island. What could be beyond the walls? Find Connie, who apparently had business on Allsand Island.
Storm the Great Lighthouse! 17 Connie has set out for Allsand Island. She apparently has memories there of her mentor. Where could her mentor have gone? Head to the Color-Full Sea Great Lighthouse Island, and prepare for battle.

To the Brrrning Sea! 19 The people were taken to Color-Full Great Lighthouse to make the sinister Glohm. Light the Great Lighthouse, and head to the Brrrning Sea. Sail the currents, and head to the next island. Listen to what your crew has to say on Shipshape Island.
IDLE: Reborn and Ready 19 Joined by Peach and Starlow, the IDLE Group is feeling bold and ready. They hopped onto Dorrie and set off to investigate! Find the next island in the Brrrning Sea. Go back to the islands you already linked.
Mysterious Island of Darkness 20 The dark clouds over Bulbfish Island feel ominous. With Zokket out there planning evil, how long until something happens? Head to the lighthouse at Bulbfish Island, and talk to the local residents.
The Egg Thief 20 To escape their parents' disapproval, Burnadette and Chilliam quietly ran away and went on a trip. They seem VERY in love. Important eggs have been stolen. Talk to Leyden, the local leader.
Detectives Mario & Luigi 20 The peace of the island has been shattered by crime! Someone has stolen Bulbfish eggs, a local delicacy. Find the thief who stole the Bulbfish eggs. Explore the island to get more information.
Security Questions 20 Hot on the case, Mario and Luigi learn of a secret in the basement. But the way is blocked by an overzealous security guard. Answer the security guard's quiz to get permission to go underground. You'll have to look for hints.
Underground Secrets 20 Asking about the underground area paid off, and our heroes earned the approval of the zealous security guard. Time to head underground. There's likely evidence of the crime underground. Be thorough and look for clues everywhere.
Time for Some Deducing! 20 Our heroes found a diary in the basement. It seems to belong to Leyden's assistant. The author has a lot of grievances with Leyden. Rest and think in the empty house. Who seems the most suspicious at this point in your investigation?
Couple Caught—Case Closed? 20 Taking a moment to think in a vacant house, Mario and co. tried to puzzle through their info. While they worked on it, there was a ruckus outside. The star-crossed lovers were arrested! Visit them in the underground area.
Jail/Love Birds 20 The happy couple has been arrested! They claim to be innocent, which would mean the true culprit could be anywhere. Rescue the jailed lovebirds, Burnadette and Chilliam. Go find the security guard.
Prove the Couple's Innocence 20 The happy couple, still affectionate even in jail, mentioned that the security guard has an important key. Beat the security guard's final challenge. Try to find his younger brother.
Find the Assistant Underground 20 The crew seemed to get back in the security guard's good graces, but then he started acting strangely. What is going on here? Find a way past the locked door, and confront the assistant underground.
Truth at the Top of a Cliff 20 In the underground area, our heroes ran into Ecks! Also, the assistant ran away again. Could he be connected to all this? Follow the assistant! He seemed to run away upstairs?
Father and Son on an Island 20 The Bulbfish-egg thief was actually Leyden's son...who was also his assistant! After a brief family squabble, the matter was resolved. Link Bulbfish Island. Be sure to talk to the residents too.
Royal Couple on Shipshape 21 Bulbfish Island was linked without incident. As you spoke with Connie, Burnadette and Chilliam arrive on Shipshape. Meet with Burnadette and Chilliam. Prepare for your next island adventure.
Heated Issues 22 Ask Burnadette and Chilliam about Heatfreeze Island, a place that's very important to them. Something troubling is going on there. Look for Heatfreeze Island. It holds memories for the couple.
A Land of Contrasts 22 The heroes arrive at a place that holds special memories for Chilliam and Burnadette. Here lies the source of the couple's issue. Look for the lighthouse. Also, there's some kind of commotion in the plaza?
Freezin Village vs. Boilin Village 22 The always-contentious Skorcheen and Slippenglide peoples share Heatfreeze Island. Their latest conflict is over specialty dishes... Check out the signature dishes of Freezin Village and Boilin Village. Only then will you be able to reach the lighthouse.
Specialty-Dish Duel 22 After a delightful sampling of both village's dishes, the battle ended in a delicious draw. Thankfully, the actual fighting has also settled down. Find the path, and reach the lighthouse at the top of the mountain.
The Cave by the Volcano 22 Zokket and his minions are up to some nefarious scheme here too. They fired a strange beam at the residents and caused chaos! Get through the cave and head toward the peak. Beware the lava and snow hazards.
Beyond the Lava 22 The crew climbs a mountain, passes through a cave of talking statues, and exits in a region of lava! Just a bit further to the Heatfreeze lighthouse! Use good timing to get past the overflowing lava and reach the top of the mountain.
Stowaways on Shipshape Island 22 After much travail, Heatfreeze Island is finally linked. On Shipshape, Mario and Luigi try to learn what will happen to the island, but then... Find out what's happening in the plaza. Report what happened on Heatfreeze Island.
Cold Chilliam, Sad Burnadette 22 The Extension Corps just showed up on Shipshape Island! And they've Glohmed Chilliam, who suddenly seems standoffish with Burnadette! Go hear what Arc has to say. Who is this knowledgeable doctor on Skorcheen Island?
The Glohming Begins 22 Your next destinations are Skorcheen and Slippenglide. But which problem will you take on first: save Chilliam or search for the Extension Corps? Go see Dr. Vulko on Skorcheen Island. Follow the Extension Corps to Slippenglide Island.

A Royal Union 25 With Heatfreeze Island linked, quite a few guests made it to the wedding. The cake and flower crown really help make the moment wonderful! Talk to the wedding guests, and enjoy the party!
Connie at Heatfreeze Island 25 Thanks to the wedding ceremony, the Skorcheen and Slippenglide people have made up. And now it seems that Connie has gone somewhere again... Check on Connie. She seems to have gone to Heatfreeze Island.
Connie's Warm Mittens 26 Heatfreeze holds memories for Connie. Cozette warmed her hands with mittens there. Burnadette and Chilliam have a mitten memory too. Head to the Great Lighthouse Island, and prepare for battle.
Light the Third Great Lighthouse 26 The Brrrning Sea Great Lighthouse is close. Before heading into a difficult battle, Connie made mittens like the ones she remembers. Relight the Great Lighthouse, and investigate the mystery surrounding Glohm.
Sneak Out of the Underground 26 Just when it seemed like the crew had gotten into the Great Lighthouse with no issues, they were hit by a surprise attack and separated from Connie. Help Connie! Sneak past the guards and escape.
Mysterious Research 27 Weird research is happening on the Brrrning Sea Great Lighthouse Island, and it's something to do with Glohm. Put a stop to Zokket's schemes! Look for a way to get to the top of the Great Lighthouse. Watch out for Zokket's soldiers.
At Last, the Gulchrock Sea 27 Zokket states his desire is the true end of Concordia. But what does he mean by saying he'll control the world with solitude? To stop Zokket's evil plan, find Gulchrock Sea and link the islands there.
