Tattle

That's a Poison Pokey. As you probably guessed, it's a poisonous Pokey. Max HP is 8, Attack is 4, and Defense is 0. If you get poisoned, your HP will slowly drain, so you may want to avoid that. I'm sure you can see this, but they have spines all over, so DON'T touch them. They may be smiling, but that doesn't mean they're happy to see you!

Poison Pokeys are derived species of Pokeys that appear in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They strongly resemble the undead Pokey Mummies from the first Paper Mario. Poison Pokeys are found at the Riverside Station and in the Pit of 100 Trials. They attack like regular Pokeys, but they are stronger and can induce poison.

Poison Pokeys appear again in Super Paper Mario. They can be found in Castle Bleck and in the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials (room #85). They attack like regular Pokeys; by flinging their body segments, or by hopping towards the player if they lose all their body segments. Poison Pokeys are more aggressive than normal Pokeys to the heroes and are found in large groups in this game. Poison Pokeys sometimes drop Dried Shrooms when they are defeated, which can heal the poison status that may have been induced in battle.
