Fribi is a Nimbi residing in The Overthere in Super Paper Mario. His name is derived from Friday, just like many other Nimbis that have week and month derived names. He can be found in the shrine of Sector 4. He is initially frozen and Bowser can free him from the ice with the Fire Breath. Still a bit shaken up, he simply thanks Bowser for rescuing him.

He stays in the shrine for the rest of the game. He is afraid of cold and fond of telling jokes, including this one which he tells the heroes:

Joke time! A cheetah and a lion playeth cards, and the cheetah layeth a full house.

Sayeth lion, "You cheetah!" Sayeth cheetah, "You lion!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Tattle[edit]

  • "That's Fribi... He's a droll Nimbi... Lately he's been calming people with jokes. He calls it "golden gag therapy"... The problem is that no one can calm HIM..."
