Tattle Log #: 55 |
Poison Pokeys are a sub-species of Pokey that appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They extremely resemble the undead Pokey Mummies from the first Paper Mario. Poison Pokeys are found at the Riverside Station and in the Pit of 100 Trials. They attack like regular Pokeys, but they are stronger and can induce poison.
Poison Pokeys appear again in Super Paper Mario. They can be found in Castle Bleck and in the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials (room #85). They attack like regular Pokeys, by flinging their body segments, or by hopping towards the player if they lose all their body segments. Poison Pokeys are more aggressive than normal Pokeys to the heroes and are found in high groups in this game. Poison Pokeys sometimes drop Dried Shrooms when they are defeated (so the player can cure his or her eventual poison status effect).

Tattle | That's a Poison Pokey. It's much like a regular Pokey, but it has poisonous spines... Max HP is 12 and Attack is 2. Watch your step... Being poisoned isn't pleasant... If you do get poisoned, most items that restore HP also cure poison... |
