Min Min is a fighter character originating from ARMS for the Nintendo Switch. She is a Chinese martial artist who battles to promote her family's ramen restaurant. On March 26, 2020, it was announced that the first DLC fighter from the Fighters Pass Vol. 2 for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would be from ARMS, and would be released in June[1]; on June 22, 2020, the fighter was revealed to be Min Min, and it was announced that she would be releasing through an update available June 29, 2020. Her corresponding stage is Spring Stadium.
Prior to her inclusion, she also appeared as a spirit in the game. Min Min is the first character to already have a spirit before appearing as a fighter.
History
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Template:Main-external Min Min is a ranged fighter who utilizes her ARMS in combat. Her ARMS grant her attacks significant reach, but at the cost of being sluggish. They also lack hurtboxes, allowing Min Min to safely use her attacks at a distance.
Uniquely, the A and B attack buttons, which are designated to her left and right ARMS respectively, can be pressed so Min Min alternates between the ARMS she attacks with; if both buttons are pressed, Min Min can simultaneously attack with both ARMS. She has three types of ARMS that she can use in battle, all of which can be swapped out (albeit for her right ARM only): Ramram, which fires a weak, curving projectile with a wide attack range; Megawatt, a mace-like arm that exchanges range and speed for sheer power; and Dragon, which can be held down to fire a short laser beam. The Dragon ARM is Min Min's left ARM at all times.
