The Worlds A-C human is based on one of the show hosts from All Night Nippon. It is unknown who this character is meant to be. In All Night Nippon: Super Mario Bros., they are a prisoner held in worlds A-4, B-4, and C-4.
Trivia[edit]
- This sprite bears a resemblance to Tsuruko Shofukutei, a former Saturday night host who left in 1985. Its pose is similar to his caricature in a 1983 record cover.
- Unlike the other show hosts in the game, this character sprite retains the exact same color palette as the Mushroom Retainer in the original Super Mario Bros., including the orange skintone (whereas the rest of the hosts, and even Princess Peach herself compared to her older sprite, gained a lighter, pinkish skintone).
