Clyde is a character appearing in the Saturday Supercade episode "The Great Seal Steal." His name may be a reference to Great Depression bandit Clyde Barrow. During the episode, he and his partner kidnap Flippie so that they can commit the greatest crime of the century: stealing the pearl from Prince Rajah's next ceremony.

He is first seen with his partner at Oceanland, where he kidnaps Flippie with an extendable net. They then drive off to a luxurious hotel, with Donkey Kong Jr. and Bones in pursuit.

At the hotel, Clyde's partner places a collar on Flippie that places the latter under the former's control, before commanding him to jump from the balcony to steal a diamond necklace from a woman in a tube. Jr. confronts them on the balcony after jumping on a chair, but they flee to a nearby balcony after Clyde's partner uses a grappling hook. As Jr. is about to reach their balcony, he removes the grappling hook from the balcony, though Jr. uses its ropes as vine to swing to the other side. Jr. is about to continue chasing the kidnappers, but notices Bones being held by police officer and briefly abandons the chase to save him. With Donkey Kong Jr. and Bones no longer on their trail, Clyde and his boat manage to escape on a boat towards Prince Rajah's yacht.

On the yacht, Jr. attempts to save Flippie after taking off his belly dancer disguise, but Clyde's partner commands Flippie to drop a net on him as he runs over a hatch, before commanding him to open the hatch to drop him into a cargo hold. After Flippie steals a pearl from Rajah's ceremony, he commands him to return to his and Clyde's boat.

After retrieving the pearl from Flippie, Clyde's partner thanks him and removes his collar, saying that they will no longer need him, freeing him from his control. Just then, Clyde notices Donkey Kong Jr. and Bones giving chase on a life buoy, to which his partner throws the collar into a great white shark's mouth, putting it under his control. He then commands it to attack them before telling Clyde to put their boat at full speed. This plan backfires when Jr. and Bones use the great white shark to chase after them. Clyde's partner attempts to stop them, but Flippie trips him. When Jr. throws a rope onto their boat's mooring post and yanks it, it tears off part of its deck, carrying them with it. Though Clyde and his partner are not seen after Jr. and Bones return them to shore, it is assumed they are arrested for their crimes.
