Yoshi's Island is a stage that appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and reappears in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It is based on Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island or possibly Yoshi's Island DS, unlike the Yoshi's Island stages in Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee, which were based on Yoshi's Story and Super Mario World, respectively.

Yoshi's Island consists of a simple small arena which is the top of a hill, with a see-saw-like platform suspended above it. Blarggwiches also appear on each side of the stage at random points, and serve as additional platforms. One unique feature of this stage is that it constantly changes seasons, although this has no effect on gameplay, only the music, getting quieter after summer and louder after winter. This stage is one of the 'jolly' stages, so Crates and Barrels that appear on it resemble presents. Yoshi's Island also features Fly Guys that carry various pieces of Food, which they will drop upon being hit.

The Final Destination version of the stage in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is set on a completely flat platform. While the stage still goes through environmental changes, the Fly Guys do not appear.
