Giuseppe
Species Human
First appearance The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023)
Portrayed by Charles Martinet

Giuseppe is a character in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. He is a citizen of Brooklyn with a stereotypical Italian accent, who is an acquaintance of Mario and Luigi, and who plays an arcade game called Jumpman in Punch-Out Pizzeria. He physically resembles the original look of Mario from the Donkey Kong arcade game, complete with the matching red hat and overalls.

He praises Mario and Luigi's Italian accents in their Super Mario Bros. Plumbing commercial, while speaking with the voice Mario has in the original Mario game series portrayed by Charles Martinet.

Trivia

  • Charles Martinet voices Giuseppe in multiple foreign dubs of the movie such as the Brazilian dub, the French dub, the Spanish dub, the Catalan dub and the Italian dub.
