Uncle Tony is the uncle of Mario and Luigi, appearing in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. He is brothers with Papa Mario and Uncle Arthur.[1]

History

The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!

An Uncle Tony was first briefly mentioned by Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Glasnuts". As Mario and Luigi are discussing how to divide a pizza evenly, Mario brings up the concern that if Uncle Tony showed up he would eat more than his fair share, thus forcing them to order more pizza.
