Mr. X[1] is a character in the Saturday Supercade episode "Greenhouse Gorilla."
He first appears at the beginning of the episode, eavesdropping on Stanley, who happened to be taking care of his plant Herman. Realizing that Herman would cost him a fortune, Mr. X stole Herman, and Donkey Kong, who happened to be nearby, assisted. The two then traveled to a supermarket; when Herman ate part of the register, Mr. X stole some of the money inside. After a brief crime spree, Mr. X decided to head to Hornby Manor to partake in the Great Ball. While he was enjoying himself, Mario managed to momentarily distract him by giving him too many balloons; however, soon after Herman was left behind by Stanley due to him fending off yet another bug, allowing Mr. X to steal him again. He then took Herman and Donkey Kong to his secret room in the manor, where the two proceeded to double-cross him. Mr. X was then promptly arrested.
