Effect Restores a small amount of HP to both Mario and Luigi

Nuts in the Super Mario franchise look similar to peanuts and are consumables used by Mario and Luigi in the Mario & Luigi series. They restore HP to both of them in one turn. In Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, they are replaced by Mushroom Drops.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga / Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions[edit]

Nuts first appear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Regular Nuts heal 20 HP for both brothers. It can be bought from Castle Town Item Shop after Mom Piranha is defeated for fifty coins, as well as from Little Fungitown Item Shop as soon as it opens for the same price. A few enemies have a chance of dropping it: Bob-ombs have a 19.35% chance, undamaged Mecha-Chomps have a 12.9% chance, and Teehee Valley's Gritty Goombas have a 9.68% chance.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story / Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey[edit]

Nuts make a return in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Just like in Superstar Saga, they are able to restore twenty HP to both Mario and Luigi. Protobatters have a 20% chance of dropping a Nut after a battle, and Calorites have a 25% chance.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team[edit]
