The Statue of Prometheus is an item in the PC, SNES, and NES versions of Mario is Missing!. It is found in the The Rockefeller Center in New York City. When it was stolen from the center by Koopa Troopas, the center was unable to operate and forced to close until Luigi retrieved the torch and proved its authenticity by answering trivia questions.

  • Boy: "That god has been painted gold. He must look at the ice-skating rink and get awfully cold."
  • Tourist: "Besides the skyline, this statue in those rings says New Yawk. Carnegie Hall next?"
  • Business Woman: "The Plaza was named for Rockefeller. Maybe that fellow is 24k gold."
  • Scientist: "60th Center and Plaza are named for Mr. Rockefeller who built this in the Depression. That's a Greek god."
  • Police Officer: "I'm happy you found Prometheus, we were certain we were in Rockefeller Plaza with a thief among us."
