Person Quote
PC version
Boy "You can actually walk into the 37-foot-tall Buddha through a door in his tummy. It costs extra though."
Tourist "You might take the 'bullet' train when you put that back in Buddha's hands. It would be the pits to walk."
Reporter "That's a round citrus fruit with great appeal. The Buddha is brass, go on have a feel."
Scientist "The Daibutsu, or Great Buddha's house was washed off by a tidal wave. May I have a piece of that tangerine?"
Police officer "That's an orange, sacred to the Great Buddha at Kamakura. It would be fruitful to return it soon."
