The Statue of Prometheus appears in the Super Mario franchise as an item in the SNES and NES versions of Mario is Missing! that could normally be found at the Rockefeller Center in New York City, like in real life, though it had been stolen by Koopa Troopas, leaving the Rockefeller Center unable to operate and forcing Luigi to retrieve torch and prove its authenticity by answering trivia questions.
