SNES
First appearance Mario is Missing! (1993)

The Spotlight from Christ the Redeemer Statue is an item in the SNES version of Mario is Missing!. As its name implies, it is placed in Rio de Janeiro to illuminate the Christ the Redeemer Statue. When Koopa Troopas stole the spotlight from the statue, the statue was unable to operate and forced to close until Luigi retrieved the spotlight and proved its authenticity by answering trivia questions.
