First appearance | Mario is Missing! (1992) |
The Matador's Cape is an item in the DOS and CD-ROM Deluxe versions of Mario is Missing! It is a part of the outfit worn by bullfighters when they corral bulls. It is stolen by Koopa Troopas from the Ventas Bullring in Madrid, and Luigi sets out to find it, albeit without knowing where it belongs. He grabs it off of a wandering Koopa Troopa, then asks various people in the city about where the Cape belongs. He is pointed towards the Ventas Bullring by a policewoman, while others tell him random facts, such as how bullfighting was used to train soldiers (it was actually a spectacle reserved for aristocracy in the past[1]). Eventually, Luigi returns it to the bullring through its information booth; he is subsequently awarded $1620.
