The Hooligan brothers are a group of gangsters appearing in the Saturday Supercade episode "Gorilla Gangster."
They are first seen after Donkey Kong hides in an office, where Knuckles hands them the money from their recent bank heist. Unbeknownst to them, the case they are given is actually filled with dirty socks, while Knuckles and Mugsy have the real case containing the cash.
They are later seen at a club, where they hide behind a potted plant, planning to attack Donkey Kong, who they believe is Mugsy. After the waitress leaves, they attempt sneak up to him, but their plans are thwarted when Mario, trying to capture Donkey Kong, misses and launches them into a chandelier. While on the chandelier, they believe Mario and Pauline betrayed them as well and decides to capture the latter, who they believe is Mugsy's girlfriend.
After capturing her, the Hooligan brothers run to the airport to catch a jet, only to be beaten by Knuckles and the real Mugsy, who have started taxiing before they could negotiate. While they are distracted, Mario uses a lasso to save Pauline. They decide not to recapture her and run after and jump onto the plane. As the criminals tussle, Donkey Kong is convinced by Pauline to stop the plane by grabbing its tail, resulting in the plane snapping in half. Mario and Pauline and Donkey Kong, disguised as a pilot and flight attendants respectively, trick them into boarding a different plane and sliding down one of its evacuation slides. All of the gangsters are trapped on a luggage cart, and Mario uses a biplane to blow the sail, propelling the gangsters into the baggage claim and trapping them all in suitcases. The Hooligan brothers are last seen being removed and arrested, along with Knuckles and Mugsy, much to their dismay.
