- —Carpaccio, Wario: Master of Disguise
Carpaccio is one of the two secondary antagonists in Wario: Master of Disguise and a rival to Wario. He has a tendency to constantly flip his hair while standing still. Carpaccio is a thief who comes from a wealthy family and owns a global weapons company called Sigil Securities; like Wario and Count Cannoli, Carpaccio also seeks the legendary Wishstone. His name is derived from the carpaccio, an Italian raw meat dish typically served as an appetizer.
Story[edit]
Carpaccio first meets Wario in Sneezemore Cave. Wario chastises Carpaccio for robbing the Smithsnorian Museum before he could, but Carpaccio scoffs at his protests, claiming that results are what "separates the winners from the whiners." He then blocks off the path to him with four stone doors, forcing Wario to search the cave for four crystals to open them. Once Wario confronts him again, he fuses with four Sir Lance-A-Lots to become Head Honcho Carpaccio. However, Wario defeats him, and he surrenders his Wishstone piece. Later, he forms an alliance with Count Cannoli to stop Wario, installing the Barfatronic Lavachomper in Sweatmore Peak to make his journey through the volcano more difficult, but this also fails. Once Wario confronts Carpaccio again in his lab, Carpaccio calls off his alliance with Cannoli and challenges Wario to a rigged footrace for the second-to-last Wishstone piece. When Wario wins, Carpaccio flees to Allergia Gardens in an attempt to protect the final Wishstone piece. He steals the Crimson Diamond in an attempt to stop Wario from reaching the Wishstone piece, but Wario retrieves it and makes it back to the Wishstone piece before Carpaccio.
When the Wishstone is reassembled, it is revealed that it was actually a seal that had restrained Terrormisu, a soul-devouring demon, for ages, and that Carpaccio was attempting to stop the Wishstone from being reassembled for this reason. Terrormisu emerges from the Wishstone and strikes Carpaccio with lightning as he tries to explain everything to Wario. Terrormisu then reveals that the Carpaccio and Cannoli families had spent centuries trying to prevent the tablets from being reassembled; as she prepared to begin devouring souls, Count Cannoli swoops in and rescues Carpaccio, leaving Wario to fight and eventually defeat Terrormisu.
In Special Episode Part 3, Carpaccio challenges to Wario and Cannoli to find parts for a new machine, with the machine itself being the prize for whoever succeeds.
