Kate's appearance in the Nintendo 64 Mario Tennis when transferred into the second Transfer Pak slot

In Mario Tennis, if Nina is chosen as the protagonist, Kate is assigned as her roommate and doubles partner. She is an unranked senior in singles, and wants to develop a strong single-handed stroke method of play. Despite being unranked, she shows no envy when Nina becomes a ranked senior, promising to root for her in singles no matter what.

Kate can be transferred with the Transfer Pak to the Nintendo 64 version of Mario Tennis though not in its Virtual Console ports. Kate's clothing is changed to a blue toned outfit in the Nintendo 64 game, though the alternate palette for a player 2 Kate retains the same colors as her Game Boy Color appearance.

Mario Tennis: Power Tour[edit]

In Mario Tennis: Power Tour, Kate has become one of the tennis coaches at the Royal Tennis Academy, specializing in teaching new students, like Clay and Ace, about playing the net effectively. She and Harry have a friendly rivalry of sorts, however she actually acts flirtatious towards Harry when describing how he was at wall practice back in the day. At one point in the Mario Tennis: Power Tour, she gives Harry a teasing push with her rear end, taking advantage of everyone tightly lined up behind them, causing him to lose his balance and knock down everyone behind them. Kate is the only one of the "Big Four" coaches (Alex, Harry, Nina, and Kate) who the player can play against at one point in Mario Tennis: Power Tour, although the "matches" against her are net play lessons.
