Like a Paratroopa who the winged version of a [[Koopa Troopa]], a KP Paratroopa is the winged version of a [[KP Troopa]]. Even though it is stronger than the [[King K|leader]], it is just a teammate.

Variant of Koopa Paratroopa

One KP Paratroopa appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and its remake as a member of the Glitz Pit team The KP Koopas. Like other Koopa Paratroopas, it is a winged variation of a KP Koopa. The Tattle Log states that the KP Paratroopa dyed its shell yellow but no similar reference to dying shells is made in the KP Koopa's log. It shares the same stats and abilities as a normal Paratroopa despite being a different color.

If Goombella uses her Tattle ability on the KP Paratroopa after it has been grounded, she will give the same information for when it was winged. All other types of Paratroopas, Parabuzzies, and Spiky Parabuzzies give Tattle information on the grounded version of the enemy if Tattled after having their wings removed.
