Sergeant Flutter is a character in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. He is a gray-shelled Paratroopa who commands a squadron of regular Paratroopas. At Monstermama's request, he and his troops help Mario ascend the steep cliff at the end of Land's End. By hopping from Paratroopa to Paratroopa, Mario can reach the top and the entrance to Bean Valley. Additionally, if Mario completes the task fast enough, he may be rewarded with the Troopa Medal and some Frog Coins.
Sergeant Flutter is also very serious and punctual even around close friends like Monstermama, though he proves himself understanding when trying to comfort Mario if he happens to fail at climbing Land's End's cliff.
