First appearance | Mario is Missing! (1992) |
The Notre Dame Bell is a bell from the south tower of the Cathedral of Notre Dame. In the PC, SNES, and NES versions of Mario is Missing!, it was one of the artifacts in Paris that had been stolen from landmarks by Koopa Troopas in order to fund Bowser's plan. Without it, Notre Dame was forced to close to tourists. Luigi had to defeat the Koopa carrying it, ask people on the streets about it, bring it to Notre Dame's information booth, and verify its authenticity by answering trivia questions about it.
