The canals from Amsterdam are background elements in the course Amsterdam Drift in Mario Kart Tour and the Booster Course Pass of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Racers drive underwater in the canals during the second and third routes, and there are usable air currents in Amsterdam Drift 2 for jumping out of the canal and onto boats on its surface. The canals in the Booster Course Pass are driven in only on the second lap.
