Koopley is Koops' father and a resident of Petalburg in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
History

Believing his father to be dead, Koops joins Mario's team to avenge him. After Mario, Goombella and Koops defeat Hooktail, Koopley emerges from her stomach with the first Crystal Star, the Diamond Star, which he gives to Mario in gratitude for saving him.
