Jean-Claude Truchet is a character from the Donkey Kong Planet skit, La nuit des vivants-morts. An undead journalist, he partakes in unusually mundane activities such as having breakfast in the morning, brushing his teeth with a wire brush and going to work. He resides in a neighborhood with other zombies.
He is deathly afraid of living people, particularly office clerks and math teachers, and flees in terror after he encounters Donkey Kong as a math teacher in the supply room where he was headed to acquire a stapler.
