In the Island Open, she expresses the utmost confidence that Elroy will win the singles tournament.  Similarly, she is certain that she and Elroy will win the doubles tournament. In both cases, she behaves very arrogantly and speaks down to her fellow Academy players. In the doubles tournament, she and Elroy are defeated by [[Willy]] and [[Sheri]] in the semifinals. Afterwards, she briefly falls ill from shock, but has recovered by the time the final round is about to begin. When Max or Tina visit her in the infirmary, she's a little nicer than before.
