Toce T., Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Toce T. is a Toad and Koops’s next-door neighbor in Petalburg in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Her name is a play on the word "toasty.” She plays a major role in Merlee's trouble, in which Merlee forgets the recipe for Heartful Cake and sends Mario to Toce T., who she is sure knows its recipe. Toce T. informs Mario of the recipe, being a Cake Mix and a Ruin Powder, and Mario eventually completes the trouble. This trouble seems to show that Toce T. is acquainted with Merlee, as the latter wonders who the Toad was making the Heartful Cake for at the time and tells Mario to tell her she said "hi.” Toce T. also mentions having kids, and fears for their safety before Hooktail’s defeat.

Profiles

  • Tattle: "That's Toce T., a Toad from Petalburg. She seems really huffy about something. She sure does keep a straight face, though. I guess she's a pretty tough cookie..."
