Eddy the Mask

Eddy the Mask (erroneously spelled Eddie the Mask in Goombella's tattle) is a rather secretive Bandit that appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He is part of the population of a small, re-inhabited part of the thousand-year-old town in Rogueport Underground. Eddy the Mask's name may be based off of Eddie the Head, the mascot of British heavy metal band Iron Maiden.

Goombella describes Eddy as a health nut (health fanatic in the remake), which, for some reason, makes him an expert on Stylish moves (which he is well-educated on and leaves several hints about). Eddy himself also says that he is a sports fan.

Tattle[edit]

  • "That's Eddie the Mask. He's some kinda health nut... Lots of nuts down here, huh? This one's a health nut, though, so he knows about Stylish moves. Ask him!" (GCN)
  • "That's Eddie the Mask. He's some kinda health fanatic... Lots of intense folks down here, huh? This one's the healthy kind of intense, though, so he knows about Stylish moves. Ask him!" (Switch)
