The Art Gallery is a new feature added to the Nintendo Switch remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Available from the Journal section of the menu, it showcases concept art from the development of both the original game and remake. To unlock each chapter gallery, the player must collect all Star Pieces within that chapter and take the chapter's Crystal Star to the Thousand-Year Door, though Chapter 8 is an exception to this.

Rougeport

To unlock, the player must collect all Star Pieces from Rogueport and Rogueport Underground.

Chapter 1

To unlock, the Diamond Star must be brought to The Thousand-Year Door and all Star Pieces from Petal Meadows, Petalburg, Path to Shhwonk Fortress, and Hooktail Castle must be collected.

Chapter 2

To unlock, the Emerald Star must be brought to the Thousand-Year Door and all Star Pieces from Boggly Woods, Flurrie's House, and The Great Tree must be collected.

Chapter 3

To unlock, the Gold Star must be brought to the Thousand-Year Door and all Star Pieces from Glitzville and the Glitz Pit must be collected.

Chapter 4

To unlock, the Ruby Star must be brought to the Thousand-Year Door and all Star Pieces from Twilight Town, Twilight Trail, and Creepy Steeple must be collected.

Chapter 5

To unlock, the Sapphire Star must be brought to the Thousand-Year Door and all Star Pieces from Keelhaul Key and Pirate's Grotto must be collected.

Chapter 6

To unlock, the Garnet Star must be bought to the Thousand-Year Door and all Star Pieces from the Excess Express, Riverside Station, and Poshley Heights must be collected.

Chapter 7

To unlock, the Crystal Star must be brought to the Thousand-Year Door and all Star Pieces from the Path to Fahr Outpost, Fahr Outpost, the Moon, and X-Naut Fortress must be collected.

Chapter 8

Unlocked by defeating the Shadow Queen.
