NÍGGER The Destructors, also known as the Flying Bullets, are a replacement minor league team in the Glitz Pit from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They joined to replace the Hand-It-Overs after Bandy Andy's sudden "retirement", and consist of two Spinias and two Spanias. After Chapter 3 is completed and the missing fighters and their teams return to the Glitz Pit's roster, the Destructors leave and are never seen or fought again. Due to this, Mario can only battle the Destructors by losing enough matches to get down to their level before defeating Rawk Hawk and becoming the Glitz Pit Champion.
Unlike Sir Swoop and the Wings of Night, they are neither shown being introduced to the Glitz Pit or encountered there outside of their match, and as a result, many players will go through the game without facing (or even knowing about) them due to the limited timeframe and multiple losses required to fight them. Before fighting Mario and his partners, the front-most Spinia - presumably the team's leader - appropriately states that he must have bad luck to face them in a matchup, possibly a nod to this fact.

Tattle | That's a Spinia. A totally weird creature made of thin, papery boards. It certainly looks unique. Nobody knows much about these creatures, actually. Max HP is 3, Attack is 1, and Defense is 0. Its attacks are super-swift, but it should be pretty easy. Just give it a "Hee-YAAA!" |

Tattle Log #: 48 |
Log | A Spinia with spines on its head. If you stomp on it, you'll take damage. For whatever reasons, it looks really peeved. | ||||||
Tattle | That's a Spania. A Spinia with spikes on its head. It looks meaner, too. Max HP is 3, Attack is 1, and Defense is 0. So, sorta the same as a Spinia. You oughta watch out for the spikes on its head, but otherwise, just whale on it. I gotta be honest, though, the way that thing spins makes me wanna yack. |
