Love Slap is an attack that can be used by Ms. Mowz during the events of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. To perform it, the player must repeatedly alternate tilting left and right to fill a gauge within the time limit. After the time is up, Ms. Mowz will slap the selected enemy three times; on the third strike, she will deal piercing damage dependent on how much the gauge was filled. This attack can only hit the frontmost grounded enemy. If the targeted enemy is spiky or otherwise deals contact damage, Mowz will take damage and the attack will end prematurely.
After performing the move, the player can press when Ms. Mowz is halfway to returning to her starting position to execute a Stylish move; however, due to incorrect coding, it will not affect Star Power regeneration. Furthermore the non-damaging slaps Mowz does before her final slap displease audience members (as evidenced by audible booing), and may even contribute to losing them. This was fixed in the Nintendo Switch remake.
