The Robbo Thieves, commonly called the Robbos, are a band of thieves in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They live on the east side of Rogueport and are led by a snail called Ishnail. They have a rivalry with the Pianta syndicate on the west side, which sometimes erupts into violence. The members of the gang are several Craws, and they have their base of operations in the building farthest to the east of Rogueport.

During the events of Chapter 5 leading into Chapter 6, Don Pianta's illness caused by him missing his daughter leads to a sharp decline in the Pianta syndicate's activities, giving the Robbos an opening to take on a number of jobs the Piantas would normally have. The Robbos are also in charge of the Trouble Center, a fact that is secret to the public and only discovered by Mario if Flurrie blows on the back of the Trouble Center building to reveal a hidden door that Goose can be found behind.

Tattle information[edit]

  • "That's Ishnail, leader of the thief band called the Robbos. He REALLY hates Don Pianta. I guess that's to be expected, since they're bitter rivals and everything. He's got some issues about money, but he's OK otherwise. Who knew?"
  • "That's Garf, part of the Robbo gang. I'm pretty sure he's related to Gus. He looks pretty gnarly, but he's actually pretty cool. Don't judge folks on looks!"
  • "That's Goose. Turns out the Trouble Center was being run by him and Ishnail's boys. He may look violent, but he's actually an intellectual. People surprise you, huh?"
  • "That's Gus. He's a part of that band of thieves who call themselves the Robbos. He looks like a total maniac, but he's actually a nice guy. Don't judge books by covers!"
