A Goomboard is a unique enemy in the Nintendo Switch remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It is a crude cardboard cutout with a Goomba drawn on it, suggested to be made by the Battle Master himself. Goomboards are only fought in the Battle Master's training sessions, serving as indestructible enemies that deal no damage. If Mario chooses to practice guarding, the Battle Master grabs hold of a Goomboard and jumps at Mario, although this attack deals no damage.
