Tattle Log #: 95 |
Dark Wizzerds are cyborg creatures encountered in the Palace of Shadow and Pit of 100 Trials in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Dark Wizzerds are floating, vaguely bean-shaped creatures purple in color with several three fingered floating hands around it, which it uses to attack foes. Dark Wizzerds can also fire energy lasers and, like Magikoopas, can create several illusions of themselves when alone. It's one of the only derived species of enemies that, being "Dark", is actually weaker than its normal form.
The laser attack can actually pierce all defenses used by Mario and his partner, including Defend Plus and Damage Dodge. However, Guards still reduce damage by 1, and Superguards avoid all damage as usual. P-Up, D-Down and P-Down, D-Up badges still have their usual effect, however, regardless of defense-piercing abilities.
