A teleporter is a teleporting object that appears in the game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It is found in the X-Naut Fortress and leads to a secretly located room in Rogueport Sewers, which the player can use to go back to X-Naut Fortress. It was used by Sir Grodus, Lord Crump and the X-Nauts to transport themselves between Rogueport and their fortress on the moon.
After defeating the Magnus von Grapple 2.0, Mario and co. find TEC, who uses some of the abandoned fortress's electricity to activate himself. He explains that Peach is in the Palace of Shadow, and requests that Mario save her; though Mario and his partners gladly accept, there was no way to leave the fortress or the moon. After giving his final wish and hearing Mario's words, TEC sacrificed all his energy to transfer it to the teleporter, which Mario used to return to Rogueport.
Once Mario teleports, TEC can be heard in space. Mario's partner will ask if they heard anything (referring to TEC), though Mario will say no. Then it breaks down, leaving Mario and his friends unable to go back to the moon until the final boss is defeated.
