- “Sorry, bub, but authorized people only past this point.”
- —Glitz Pit Security, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
The Glitz Pit Security is a security team that appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Their job is to watch over the Glitz Pit and make sure the fighters do not get out of hand. The species of the Security is unknown, but all of them are muscular, blue-skinned, have yellow tufts of hair, wear black shades and suits, and hold their hands behind their backs. They resemble real-world personal bodyguards, who are tasked with protecting moguls and other kinds of important people.
Before the championship fight, one of the security members leads Mario to a deserted locker room and locks him inside, minutes before the fight. This leads to the conclusion that Rawk Hawk cheated and somehow convinced the security to lock Mario in and prevent him from fighting in the championship match.
