If it's holding up a pipe[sic] when you jump on it, you'll get hurt. And sometimes the pipes[sic] it throws turn into Sky-Blue Spinies. Whoa! If you only attack the Spinies, you'll never win, so go after the Dark Lakitu!

Dark Lakitus are the sinister relatives to Lakitus. Although at first glance they are identical to their cousins, many subtle details separate them. Appearance-wise, their clouds are slightly darker and more brown, they have red shells, and they have a mean look on their face. Dark Lakitus also throw Sky-Blue Spinies instead of Spiny Eggs. Dark Lakitus are only encountered in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, where they are only battled in the Pit of 100 Trials.
