Spinia, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Spinias are creatures made of thin, papery discs in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They commonly appear in Rogueport Sewers alongside their later-found spiked version called Spanias. As their name suggests, they and their attacks are derived from spinner. Spinias are also found in the Pit of 100 Trials. Two Spinias also appear in Chapter 3 where they help make up the Glitz Pit team the Destructors who served as a replacement for Bandy Andy who had "retired". However, The Destructors exit the rankings when Bandy Andy comes back and takes their place.

  • Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door's data reveals what could possibly be another Spinia variant (seemingly a hamburger-themed one); this Spinia-like creature was supposedly going to be an ally of Luigi, as its sprite could be found next to those of Luigi's other partners.
  • In the Tattle Log, there's no space in between "HP" and "3" for Spinia.
