Earth Tremor is a Special Move that can be used in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It is learned when Mario gains the Diamond Star at the end of Chapter 1, after defeating Hooktail. The attack involves Mario and his partner jumping on an enlarged Diamond Star, as a long blue gauge appears, with several circles along it in random positions. The gauge will start filling up with a green bar from left to right, and when it passes through a circle, the A button must be pressed. If it is not pressed, or the timing is off, the Action Command stops. The potential attack power increases with each gauge completed out of the total 5, with each having an extra circle, and with the green bar moving faster each time. The Diamond Star itself gets bigger with each one completed. The attack power starts off at 1, and can go up to 6 if done perfectly. The other effect is that with each bar completed, the tremor reaches higher off the ground and so can hit more enemies. | Earth Tremor on wheels is a Special Move that can be used in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Template:PM Moves Earth Tremor on wheels is a Special Move that can be used in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
- No gauges completed: 1 damage, only hits ground enemies. (e.g. Goombas and Koopas)
- 1 completed: 2 damage, also hits low hovering enemies (e.g. Podoboos and Ruff Puffs in their low position)
- 2 completed: 3 damage, height difference has no effect
- 3 completed: 4 damage, also hits normal flying/floating enemies (e.g. Paragoombas and Lakitus)
- 4 completed: 5 damage, hits enemies on the ceiling, if just barely (e.g. Swoopers and Swoopulas)
- All completed: 6 damage, hits all enemies
Earth Tremor's attack is piercing and is capable of damaging invisible enemies.
